Local programmer, Craig Edgar, has released version 4 of Picture Slots!  It's a unique Slot Machine that allows you to create your own Reels to play using your own digital photos.

Version 4 also introduces Theme Packs which change the overall appearance of the game.  Picture Slots is becoming more and more popular because it is the only Slot Machine in the world that allows you to create your own Reels, Backgrounds and Theme Packs.

Craig says "I hate slot machines with a passion and would happily drop them all into the ocean to make an artificial reef so we can all go fishing, but if you are going to play them you might as well play one that isn't going to take your families rent money!".  

Picture Slots gets a few hundred downloads a week and has some very loyal customers who create Reels and Theme Packs on a regular basis.

Right now Picture Slots doesn't like running on Vista and nobody really knows why.  Craig said "Vista is a pain in the #$%# as drawing on the screen is more difficult because Vista does things differantly which makes it hard for established programmers.  I think the guy at Microsoft who decided that Vista was a good idea needs to be sacked.  So typical of Microsoft, as soon as an operating system is stable they release something to bugger us all up again - something with security holes and bugs.  It happened with 98, 2000, XP and it will happen again when Vista is a few years old".   But the problems with Picture Slots and Vista will be solved soon.
