Optus no longer providing service |

Optus are not going to provide services to regional areas any more. What a load of crap! My Broadband Service is with Optus as is my home phone and when we wanted to change our Plan we were told "No, we don't service regional areas"!
What is wrong with these morons? If Telstra have abandoned the country surely from a business point of view competitors such as Optus have an opportunity - not according to Optus. They wont open new accounts or change existing ones. Providers don't want to provider services because Telstra make it cost prohibitive and Tesltra wont upgrade services because they say "there is no competition in the area". Catch 22! Residents in the country suffer because telco giants are playing stupid monopoly games. More to come as I get more information.... |
